1. Sansevieria

So the Sansevieria or lady’s tongue cannot be missing from our list of easy houseplants and you hardly need to worry about it. In fact, in winter, this houseplant can even go up to 8 weeks without water! The lady’s tongue survives both in the light and in the shade and grows very slowly, so you rarely need to repot it. The only thing the Sansevieria can’t stand is too much water.

2. Monstera or hole plant
The hole plant or Monstera Deliciosa is one of the most popular houseplants at the moment. And with good reason: The hole plant has large, heart-shaped leaves that can be up to 45 cm long! As the Monstera gets older, it gets more notches and holes. This plant is a real eye-catcher in your interior. Moreover, it is easy to take care of and it grows very fast. Each new shoot produces a new one and before you know it, you have six new leaves. The easy Monstera is the ideal houseplant for your starting urban jungle. Place the plant in a light spot, but not in direct sunlight.
